Government Buys $47k Bull During Government Shutdown

The government shutdown may be causing national hysteria, but on Monday the U.S. Army agreed to buy a mechanical bull.

The bull cost $47,174 and was contracted on Oct. 7 to Mechanical Bull Sales Inc. of State College, Penn.

Affirmed to the General Services Administration (GSA) listing, the National Guard of Utah requested a “bull which needs to be durable and low maintenance.”
