Former Breitbart Columnist Lee Stranahan revealed a claim that Breitbart.com, previously owned by the late Andrew Breitbart, is now charging Tea Party organizations to cover their events.

Stranahan interviewed Ken Crow, the co-founder of TeaPartyCommunity.com. Crow stated that he called Breitbart News to see if they would cover a tea party rally in Texas, but was told it would cost the organization thousands of dollars.

According to Daily Caller, Crow talked to Dan Fleuette, who stated that Breibart News would require a fee of $11,000 to come and report on the event. Eventually, Fleuette lowered the price to $7,000 not including travel expenses. The rally’s female organizers were shocked screaming, “WE DON’T HAVE SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS!” Crow recollected.

Taking into consideration of how supportive Andrew Breitbart was of the Tea Party, it is strongly questioned by tea party activists if he would have approved of his network’s recent actions.
