A New York-based Satanic Temple has just unveiled a design for a 7-foot-tall, goat-headed deity it wants placed at the Oklahoma state Capitol. This is in response to the a display of the Ten Commandments that was donated in 2012 by Mike Ritze, who is a representative in the state legislature.
The statue features a horned satanic goat, sitting on a throne under pentagram, with children standing next to it. The group says that Oklahoma’s decision to place a monument of the Ten Commandments at Capitol, opens the door for their their statue. There is just one problem. The Ten Commandments include many laws that are agreeable by both Christians and non-Christians alike; however, the satanic goat is just a promotion of satanism, and provides nothing relatable to state or national laws.
